Lego inside joy
The name ‘LEGO’ is an abbreviation of the two Danish words “leg godt”, meaning “play well” It’s our name and it’s our ideal. It all began in a workshop of Ole Kirk Christiansen, who was making wooden toys, but got interested in the new possibilities of making plastic bricks. His motto “det bedste er ikke for godt”, meaning “the best isn’t excessively good” was created by Christiansen to encourage his employees never to skimp on quality, a value he believed in strongly. Nowadays LEGO is a very sustainable toy, you can find it on every garage sale, or it’s given to family and friends, keeping almost the same value as when it was first purchased.
